Job Title: Area Sales Vice President
The Area Sales Vice President is responsible for building and developing a high-performing sales team within a defined territory to drive revenue growth and achieve sales quotas. They develop and execute strategic plans to reliably deliver quotas, manage referral relationships, acquire talent, and expand the area. The Vice President is field-active; coaching sellers and leaders, and providing ongoing learning and development opportunities to their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate Paycor sales vision, business plans, and organizational updates to the sales team, driving alignment at all levels within the area.
- Develop strategic plans for reliably delivering quotas, leveraging referral sources, capturing prospects, managing staffing, and expanding the area.
- Build partnerships with channel partners to capture business referrals.
- Execute marketing plans to develop local referenceable clients and increase brand awareness.
- Recruit, interview, and select talent to build a high-performing sales team.
- Manage the performance and professional development of sales executives and leaders.
- Oversee development and implementation of individual and regional business plans.
- Ensure sales team alignment with Paycor sales processes, practices, and policies.
- Analyze sales activity and results to direct performance and inform senior management reporting.
- Represent Paycor in the community to enhance relationships and increase brand awareness.
- Ensure ethical business practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years' experience leading a high-performing sales team.
- Ability to manage and analyze all sales activities and processes to track and ensure goals are achieved.
- Proven track record of leading a sales team to overachievement of quotas.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent, including individual contributors and leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
