VP, Sales - Retirement Plan Services (Remote - Northeast Territory)

Position Overview

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. We seek a self-motivated professional to develop new defined contribution plan sales opportunities in the Large Market segment ($150M-$1B). The role involves prospecting, managing, and securing business in the Northeast territory (ME, VT, NH, MA, NY, RI, CT), collaborating with internal teams to foster relationships with key plan sponsors, investment advisors, and retirement plan consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue large market retirement plans ($150M-$1B)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, advisors, and consultants
  • Manage sales pipeline and lead the sales process
  • Provide documentation for sales opportunities
  • Collaborate internally to pursue new business
  • Coach team members for effective sales presentations
  • Negotiate services with stakeholders
  • Understand Schwab’s service offerings and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Achieve activity and sales goals
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data and provide updates to management
Qualifications
  • Self-driven with integrity, resilience, and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in client-facing sales, preferably in benefits or financial services
  • Knowledge of the defined benefit and non-qualified plan markets
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; postgraduate/certifications preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (can be obtained after employment)
