Position Overview

The ASM supports the sales organization and customers throughout the sales process within a specific area. This role reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Increase new and existing sales and business by supporting the Sales organization.
2. Promote Hitachi Energy products internally and externally through webinars, seminars, presentations, Lunch & Learns, etc.
3. Influence customer specifications.
4. Create sales plans jointly with FES, REPS, and the Account organization.
5. Manage bid operations.
6. Analyze customer needs and competitor offers using market information and local Sales data.
7. Ensure effective marketing actions and communication to the local Sales team and customers.
8. Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or Marketing Manager, ensuring technical and financial appropriateness.
9. Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support collection and project management activities as needed.
10. Communicate the value proposition of products, systems, services, and packages.

Additional Knowledge and Experience

• Power Quality solutions, terminology, products (capacitors, reactors, filters)
• Surge Arresters solutions, applications, and terminology
• Instrument transformer solutions, applications, and terminology
• Solution sales experience with electrical utilities, renewable/epc's, and heavy industrial customers
• Cross-discipline project collaboration
• Promotional sales and marketing of a global manufacturer's equipment
