Position Overview

This position reports to the District Sales Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales strategy within the Ohio - West Virginia - Western Pennsylvania trade region to enhance market penetration and achieve growth objectives. Lead and ensure the implementation of sales strategies to meet qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems, and services, focusing on sustainable growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Lead, develop, and coach the sales team to achieve high performance.

This is a remote role, ideally based in Ohio, West Virginia, or Western Pennsylvania. The role contributes to ABB's Electrification Installation Products in the U.S.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Proactively identify and address performance shortfalls.
2. Evaluate and pursue new opportunities with existing and potential customers, planning and resource allocation.
3. Conduct customer surveys and act on feedback to ensure high satisfaction.
4. Participate in negotiating key contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in the electrical industry, preferably in commercial and industrial markets.
• Strong analytical, sales, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% or as needed within the territory.
• Legal work authorization to work in the US is required.
