Job summary

Medical Device Recruiters Inc. is sourcing an Area Sales Manager for a leading orthopedic medical device client in the United States. The role combines strategic territory development with active field engagement to drive growth across foot and ankle, trauma, and extremities markets.

The position leads and develops a regional sales team, targets revenue growth, and strengthens surgeon relationships. An excellent leadership opportunity with significant growth potential and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of orthopedic medical device sales experience.
• Experience in sales leadership or team development preferred.
• Foot and ankle, trauma, extremities, or implants experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Uncapped commission potential included in compensation.

Compensation: $275K–$300K On-Target Earnings

Our established orthopedic medical device client is expanding its direct sales and sales leadership team across the U.S. With a 25-year history, an innovative portfolio of implants, instruments, and biologics, and significant investment in new product development, the company is positioned for continued growth.

The Area Sales Manager will lead and develop an assigned region, building sales talent, strengthening surgeon relationships, and driving growth across the foot and ankle, trauma, and extremities markets. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity combining strategic territory development with active field engagement.

• Strong understanding of the OR environment and orthopedic procedures.
• Bachelor's degree required
