Job Description

What’s the role? Our Area Sales Manager is the face of the company to our dealers. The role focuses on increasing funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers. It involves identifying, onboarding, and managing dealer growth within the local region, using a consultative sales approach to build strong relationships that help dealers grow their business. This is a full-time role reporting to Regional Sales Managers, requiring candidates to work remotely and travel as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within dealerships.
  2. Identify and contact sales prospects, follow-up on leads and referrals.
  3. Develop and grow current and potential dealer partnerships.
  4. Maintain effective communication with dealer partners about programs.
  5. Train dealers on Western Funding processes and documentation for fast funding.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive, finance, and sales sectors.
  • Experience in financial services or car dealerships.
  • 1-2 years of successful sales experience.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and appointment setting.
  • Computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
  • Results-oriented and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%; valid driver’s license required.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $54,000 - $125,000 + commissions; average first-year earnings $79,000; top earners up to $125,000.
  • Unlimited earning potential with no cap on commissions.
  • Monthly mileage reimbursement of approximately $450.
