Job summary

Schindler in Seattle, WA is seeking an Area Sales Representative for Modernization, Large Project Center (LPC). You will lead pursuit of major modernization opportunities from early identification through contract award.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Field teams, develop bid strategies, maintain forecasts, and build relationships with consultants, developers and property owners. Travel to district offices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting.
• 10+ years of E&E Modernization sales experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, Lotus Notes, SAP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large project sales execution from opportunity identification through contract award.
• Develop specification reviews, scope development, and bid strategy for complex modernization programs.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Field Modernization teams to ensure proposals are technically sound.
• Maintain forecasting visibility for large project opportunities.
• Identify and pursue large modernization opportunities within high-rise and institutional portfolios.
• Target aging equipment in competitor portfolios and develop recovery strategies.
• Partner with Area Modernization Sales Manager to identify LPC opportunities.
