Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking an Area Sales Director to oversee direct store delivery sales and independent distributors, driving growth and market penetration across assigned territories. You will manage key accounts, track performance, and leverage digital tools to demonstrate execution wins and opportunities for expansion.

The role requires 5+ years in management or sales, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and a valid DOT medical card, driver's license, and age 21+.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales. Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Grow customer base, engage in sales activities, track sales data, and manage customer relationships.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to support promotion and display execution.
• Utilize digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
• Collaborate with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market opportunities and maximize sales using consumer insights.
