Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Area Sales Director to support Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales and Independent Distributors (IDs).

You will manage customer relationships, drive sales growth, and analyze market opportunities with leadership to optimize strategies and promotions. The role requires at least 5 years of management or sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), a valid DOT medical card, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts; promote and display execution in the market.
• Grow customer base; seek new selling opportunities and track sales data.
• Analyze market and territory opportunities with Market VP and Sales Enablement to maximize sales.
