Job summary

Community Access Services seeks an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with IDD across multiple residential programs. The role requires flexibility to work at different locations and adjust to varying support environments.

You will help individuals live as independently as possible while building meaningful relationships. Pay is $25.75 per hour (DOE) with a $2,000 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a direct care role and working with individuals with disabilities is required.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements to become a company driver.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Strong reliability and willingness to work across multiple locations as needed.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with individuals served.
• Assist with daily living activities (cooking, personal care, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development.
• Administer medications and complete documentation accurately.

Community Access Services is hiring an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across multiple residential programs.

As an AR DSP, you will be assigned where coverage is needed most across our programs. This role requires flexibility to work at different locations and adjust to varying support environments.
