Community Access Services is seeking an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with IDD across Wasco County, OR. The role requires flexibility to work at different locations and across all shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights.

The position offers $25.75 per hour plus a $1,000 hiring bonus, ongoing paid training, benefits, and opportunities to gain experience across multiple programs while helping individuals live more independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in a direct care role and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and shifts, including weekends.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

Community Access Services is hiring an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across multiple programs in Wasco County.

As an AR DSP, you will provide support and coverage for adults at home and at work.

This role requires flexibility to work at different locations and across all shifts—including day, swing, and overnight shifts—as well as weekends. You must be willing and able to adjust to varying schedules, locations, and support environments based on program needs.

What Does an Area Relief Direct Support Professional Do?

As an Area Relief Direct Support Professional, you'll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible.

Because this is an area relief position, you'll have the opportunity to work across different programs, gaining experience in different support environments while providing coverage where it is needed most.

Responsibilities include:
