Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a 24-hour residential program in Portland, Oregon. This full-time role offers hands-on support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with swing and overnight shifts available and paid training provided.

You will help residents live more independently, with a focus on safety, companionship, and community engagement in a 24-hour setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Ability to become an approved company driver.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with individuals served.
• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development.
• Administer medications and complete documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Advocate for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people you support.

Program: 24-Hour Residential Group Home Program

What Does a Direct Support Professional Do?

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible while building meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities include:
