Job summary

Cemex US, a leader in the building materials industry, seeks a territory supervisor for the ready-mix organization. You will oversee drivers, coordinate dispatch and plant personnel, manage raw materials, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the assigned territory.

Requires a college degree or relevant experience, 5+ years in plant production and maintenance, and 3+ years in supervision. Strong safety, budgeting, and KPI focus are essential for success at Cemex US.

Qualifications

• College degree, preferably in an engineering discipline, or relevant working experience preferred.
• Five (or more) years’ experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production, safety, and maintenance; equipment maintenance; experience in detecting and resolving production problems
• Three (or more) years in a supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Supervises drivers in assigned territory, including the recruiting, orientation, ongoing training, day-to-day scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Coordinates with dispatch and sales to schedule drivers and plant personnel for efficient operations
• Manages raw materials within the assigned territory, overseeing quality and quantity to meet standards
• Implements and evaluates procedures to ensure plant inspections and corrective actions
• Coordinates with sales and customer service to ensure timely delivery of products
• Identifies customer service needs with the sales and technical services teams for improvements
• Develops, coordinates and suggests area budgets to management
• Manages costs and key performance indicators for the assigned area
• Ensures adherence to established performance indicators
• Promotes safety within the assigned territory
• Coordinates with EHS and maintenance departments for compliance and plant upkeep
