Job summary

D&W Diesel, Inc. in Auburn, NY is seeking an Area Production Manager to lead production operations and drive safe, efficient manufacturing.

You will manage the workforce, ensure staffing/training, collaborate with departments to reduce warranty costs, and uphold OSHA/environmental standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 15 years of equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in process and quality improvement.
• Experience in fabrication and machining preferred.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, and/or demonstrated equivalent experience of at least 15 years, 3 of which in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 2 years supervisory experience with strong leadership skills
• Experience in the areas of process and quality improvement
• Experience in fabrication and machining disciplines preferred
• Must have strong planning abilities and analytical and problem-solving skills
