Job summary

D&W Diesel, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to lead the cleaning and teardown processes in our remanufacturing facility, overseeing disassembly, training, and workflow.

You will document SOPs, maintain safety, and ensure quality; you will coordinate flow through the department and supervise staff. We offer ESOP, 401(k) with match, health/dental/vision, disability & life insurance, and paid time off, at our Auburn, NY headquarters with eight locations.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.

• Supervise and support powertrain component disassembly and cleaning procedures.
• Develop and implement training for staff on equipment and procedures.

• Ensure all work leaving the department meets quality standards.
• Document standard operating procedures for all equipment and processes.
• Maintain an upbeat and safe work environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of manufacturing principles.
• 5+ years prior experience working in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with mechanical principles.
• Effective communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels of business.
• Ability to assign work and direct a team.
• A desire to learn and become extremely knowledgeable on cleaning technologies.

Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00 hour
