Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Area Operations Manager, Solutions, to lead end-to-end operational performance across the greater Atlanta area with a focus on profitability, schedule compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role partners with PMO, Operations Excellence, and LPO to standardize best practices and deliver premium project execution.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of operations leadership in a project-based environment, strong financial acumen, and experience collaborating with Sales

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience leading operations in a project-based, solutions, or engineering environment.
• Financial acumen with responsibility for revenue, margin, cost control, and cash flow.
• Experience partnering effectively with Sales, Project Management, and operations organizations.
• Travel as needed; valid driver's license; must meet Siemens fleet vehicle program requirements.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct operational execution across customers within the assigned area.
• Be accountable for profitable growth, operational excellence, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with central Operations functions (PMO, Operations Excellence, LPO) to use shared capabilities and best practices.
• Provide pricing guidance, scope definition, and execution strategy for competitive bids.
• Lead workforce planning by hiring, developing, allocating, and performance-managing resources.
• Ensure balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance align with company expectations.
