Job Description

This is an in-person management position requiring the individual to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week at our San Leandro location. The role involves driving to meet with mobile techs, for which a company car will be provided. The candidate must be able to perform x-rays once a week.

Salary Range: $95,000-$102,000

Responsibilities

1. Work within the team of Area Managers under the direction of the Director of Operations, and be available to address all issues within the designated region.
2. Plan and implement schedules and staffing within the region.
3. Supervise all Radiology staff within the region.
4. Maintain communication between management and technologists to ensure quality studies under the radiologist's direction.
5. Conduct staff evaluations on a 90-day and annual basis.
6. Assess employee needs and make recommendations to management.
7. Review image quality.
8. Order supplies, equipment, and coordinate repairs within the region.
9. Maintain inventory of equipment assigned to the region.
10. Orient new employees to company policies and procedures.
11. Assist technologists with technical problems.
12. Identify and correct problem behaviors through coaching and counseling.
13. Review payroll to ensure productivity and resource control.
14. Communicate regularly with dispatch to ensure patient care and turnaround times.
15. Implement strategies and activities aligned with company goals.
16. Perform x-rays as needed to cover for vacations, sick calls, or short staffing.
17. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
18. Adhere to health and safety policies, and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
