We are a well-established thought leadership business representing a world-renowned speaker, bestselling author, and executive coach focused on unlocking breakthrough collaboration in teams and organizations. Our clients include some of the world’s leading brands, and we are expanding our speaking business to help more leaders harness the power of networks, teams, and technology to drive performance.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales and Operations Manager who is energized by selling, building relationships, and making things happen. This role is responsible for selling and marketing our thought leader for keynotes, workshops, and coaching engagements while ensuring flawless execution of every event. You’ll work directly with the president and our thought leader to develop go-to-market strategies, manage key relationships, and close deals. You’ll also handle operational details to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to market and sell keynotes and engagements
  • Ensure all marketing assets effectively showcase speaker value propositions and align with overall business strategy
  • Build relationships with speaker bureaus, event organizers, and corporate clients to generate sales
  • Qualify and respond to inbound leads, including negotiate and closing deals
  • Proactively source and qualify new leads, building a robust and sustainable sales pipeline
  • Manage client communications, event logistics, and engagement success
  • Drive post-event follow-up and account expansion opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in services sales
  • Highly motivated by sales goals, winning, and earning commission
  • Excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage sales pipelines and client details
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the flexibility to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software (hubspot)
  • Proficiency with Google docs and slide presentations

Compensation

  • Salary: Total Earning Potential of $150,000 - $200,000, $100k base plus commissions
  • Commission: Additional sales-based commissions
