Job Title: Area Operations Manager - Radiology Operations

Location: San Francisco, CA (Must be in San Leandro 2x/week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may vary)

Salary Range: $95,000 - $102,000 annually

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and provide direct supervision of Radiologic Technologists and/or Sonographers within a designated region. This leadership role ensures quality standards, optimal patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily staff scheduling and ensure coverage across the assigned region
• Manage regional performance, forecasting, and departmental P&L
• Ensure compliance with state-specific Radiation and Health Department regulations
• Provide supervision and direct clinical support to staff
• Conduct 90-day and annual staff evaluations
• Coordinate equipment supply, repair, and fleet maintenance
• Manage image quality assurance and technologist credentialing
• Lead new hire and ongoing staff training
• Handle employee relations and support problem-solving
• Perform imaging exams as needed to maintain service levels
• Collaborate with dispatch to ensure consistent patient care and turnaround times
• Track dosimetry reports and ensure credential compliance
• Report incidents or accidents per company protocols
