Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Perris, CA to lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety, quality, attendance and performance, and ensure on-time delivery to customers. You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities include mentoring the workforce, managing productivity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas.
• Occasionally climb and descend stairs where applicable.
