Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Riverside, CA to lead a team of hourly associates across a multi-mile delivery network. You will drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to hit objectives, and adapt to varying site conditions, including weekends and night shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds; frequent pushing, pulling, squatting and reaching
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work where noise can be loud and temperatures vary
• Climb and descend stairs at sites with stairs
