Job summary

Amazon in Eastvale, CA is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, attendance and performance. You will ensure on-time delivery to customers across First, Middle and Last mile operations.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to meet business objectives, and adapt to variable shifts, temperatures, and noise. This role requires flexible scheduling and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
