Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers across our WW Operations network. You will mentor staff, manage safety and productivity, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Engineering, and HR to hit service objectives. Applicants should have 2+ years in people management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and be flexible for weekends/nights/holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather, with outside loading areas.
• Occasionally climb and descend stairs where applicable.
