Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers across a multi-mile delivery network. You will engage the team during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to meet business objectives and develop improvement plans. The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds and extended periods of standing and walking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
