Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in the United States is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers and safeguard safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You’ll help ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location, across First, Middle, and Last mile operations.

The role includes collaboration with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to develop plans meeting business objectives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather at delivery stations including outside loading departments.
