The Area Operations Manager maintains consistent standards and oversees day-to-day operations across assigned locations, working closely with venue teams and leadership to support performance, staffing, service and guest care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment with supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple locations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations and elevated service standards.
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, training, labor management and inventory controls.
  • Excellent communication, judgment and coaching skills.
  • Organized, self-directed and able to balance priorities and follow through.
  • Confident guest presence and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across assigned locations and maintain active presence during key service periods.
  • Reinforce standards for venue readiness, service execution, team conduct and guest care.
  • Review staffing and schedules and support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching and performance feedback.
  • Monitor labor, sales, food cost, guest feedback and recurring service issues and address concerns with teams.
  • Coordinate chefs and service teams on timing, allergies and special requests and handle escalated matters.
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, repairs and sanitation; ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Maintain clear communication with venue teams and operations leadership.
  • Support openings, special events and company projects and travel among locations.

Position Overview

The Area Operations Manager maintains consistent standards and effective day-to-day operations across assigned locations. Working closely with venue teams and operations leadership, this role supports team performance, addresses service and staffing needs and sees issues through to resolution. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on leader who can balance immediate priorities with longer-term improvement.

  • Organized, selfdirected and able to balance priorities and follow through consistently.
  • Confident guest presence and ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays and travel among assigned locations as needed.
