Job summary

Nom Nom is hiring for a Plant Operations Manager in Nashville to oversee all production, fulfillment, safety and maintenance activities at our pet food site. You will partner with the Plant Director and Quality Manager to translate policies into efficient, compliant operations and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

You will lead budget planning, resource allocation, and supervision of supervisors and line leaders, driving safe, high-performing operations aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Manager or 5+ years’ experience as a Warehouse/Operations Manager
• Experience in food & beverage manufacturing industry
• Experience managing an operation budget
• Ability to lead multiple disciplines to execute Nom Nom’s policies, procedures and standards
• Demonstrated safety culture with people and products
• Proven experience to implement continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to scale a business
• Demonstrated experience in process management and project management
• Overall responsibility to own and deliver against annual plan metrics
• Experience in supporting (coaching, motivating and developing) High Performing Team Based systems a plus
• Demonstrated experience in business acumen
• Leads in a manner that engages employees and ensures a safe, inclusive, diverse work culture
• Bachelor’s Degree required or significant equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operation of Nom Nom pet food production including Operations, Fulfillment, Food Safety, Maintenance & Engineering projects at the site.
• Work with the Plant Director, Quality Manager and executive team to execute policies, procedures & strategic plans while ensuring efficient operations & food safety.
• Promote and work towards continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation.
• Ensure production & fulfillment schedules are established and achieved to most effectively utilize people, processes and equipment.
• Align overall team resources to meet strategic operation goals in accordance with plant objectives.
• Lead, direct and control capital and operating budgets.
• Responsible for hiring, training, selecting, and supervision of plant supervisory and line leaders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
