Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE is seeking a Raw Production Manager to lead the production team and manage the end-to-end manufacturing process. You will drive efficiency, control costs, and ensure KPIs are met across the production floor.

You will supervise Production Supervisors and hourly staff, partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments, and report regularly on production metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing.
• Preferred experience in pet food or food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Supervisors and support hourly employees on daily activities.
• Monitor daily line performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sanitation, Accounting and HR to maintain efficient operations.
• Create regular reports for management on production metrics and issues.

We’re Looking For A(n):

Raw Production Manager

Location:

Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee and manage the entire production process within assigned area(s) of the manufacturing facility to operate within budget and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze current production processes and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Manage team of Production Supervisors and provide support on the daily activities of production and hourly employees
• Monitor and review the daily line performance to ensure operations meet performance standards and make improvements or adjustments as needed
• Partner closely with other departments including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sanitation, Accounting and HR to maintain efficient operations and overcome challenges in the production area(s) as they arise
• Create and share regular reports with management to provide status updates on production metrics, issues or challenges facing the department(s)
• Provide and encourage an open working environment on the production floor with all employees; lead effective conflict management efforts as needed when challenges or disagreements between employees arise
• Effectively manage the workforce and assist Production Supervisors through the disciplinary process while partnering with Human Resources
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and identify cost saving opportunities and see those through to implementation

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of leadership within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in lean manufacturing
• Prior experience in pet food or food manufacturing
