Job summary

Nom Nom Now, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of dog food production, including operations, fulfillment, food safety, maintenance, and engineering projects.

You will collaborate with the Plant Director and Quality Manager to implement policies, drive efficiency, and uphold high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years as a Manager or 5+ years as Warehouse/Operations Manager.
• Experience in food & beverage manufacturing preferred.
• Experience managing an operation budget.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies.
• Leads with a safe, inclusive, diverse work culture.

• Oversee the entire operation of Nom Nom pet food production including Operations, Fulfillment, Food Safety, Maintenance & Engineering projects.
• Collaborate with Plant Director, Quality Manager and leadership to execute policies, procedures & strategic plans while ensuring efficiency and food safety.
• Promote and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
• Establish and meet production & fulfillment schedules to optimize people, processes and equipment.
• Align resources to meet plant objectives and strategic goals.
• Lead, direct and control capital and operating budgets.
• Hire, train, supervise plant supervisory and line leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the entire operation of Nom Nom pet food production including Operations, Fulfillment, Food Safety, Maintenance & Engineering projects at the site.
• Work collaboratively with the Plant Director, Quality Manager and other Corporate leadership team members to execute policies, procedures & strategic plans while ensuring efficient operations & consistent team member & food safety.
• Promote and work towards continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation
• Ensures production & fulfillment schedules are established and achieved which most effectively utilize our people/process and equipment
• Align overall team resources to meet strategic operation goals in accordance with plant objectives.
• Lead, direct and control capital and operating budgets.
• Responsible for hiring, training, selecting, and supervision of plant supervisory and line leaders

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Manager or 5+ years’ experience as an Warehouse/Operations Manager
• Experience in food & beverage manufacturing industry
• Experience managing an operation budget
• Ability to lead multiple disciplines to execute Nom Nom’s policies, procedures & standards
• Demonstrated safety culture with people and products
• Proven experience to implement continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to scale a business
• Demonstrated expertise in process management and project management
• Overall responsibility to own and deliver against annual plan metrics
• Experience in supporting (coaching, motivating and developing) High Performing Team Based systems a plus
• Demonstrated experience in business acumen
• Leads in a manner that engages employees and ensures a safe, inclusive, diverse work culture
• Bachelor’s Degree required or significant equivalent experience
