Job summary

Amazon Bristol, IN is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across first, middle, and last mile operations. You will coach and motivate staff to meet safety, quality, attendance, and performance targets while ensuring on-time deliveries to customers.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to drive improvements. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience, and flexibility including

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts
• Adapt to noise and temperature variations in delivery stations
