Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Aurora, Colorado is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and engage staff during shifts to maintain high performance. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations from first mile through last mile.

Qualified candidates bring 2+ years in employee and performance management, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a flexible schedule including nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly workforce and mentor them.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.
• Support operations across first/middle/last mile and customer delivery goals.
