Job summary

Amazon in Deltona, FL is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff and ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards. You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet delivery commitments and improve processes.

The role requires 2+ years in people management, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and flexibility for weekends/nights. Physical duties include lifting and standing during shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks during shifts.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours; noisy and variable environment.
