Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Tallahassee, FL to lead a team of hourly associates and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance. You will engage staff during shifts to meet customer expectations and optimize operations across First/ Middle/ Last mile workflows.

The role requires 2+ years in people or performance management, a relevant degree (or 2+ years Amazon experience), and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering/Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
