Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Plymouth, MI. Lead a team of hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure on-time customer deliveries across three workflow stages (First, Middle, Last mile).

Responsibilities include mentoring associates, coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR, and maintaining performance goals. Expect flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
