Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery promises. Training occurs at an operating site 2+ weeks away from home base, travel paid by Amazon, with overnight shifts in a flexible weekend/weekday schedule.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with Safety, HR, and Loss Prevention, and adapt to varying environments, including outside loading and refrigerated locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and navigate stairs.
