Amazon in the United States is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location, working with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

The role requires training at an operating site for 2+ weeks and a willingness to work 10-hour overnight shifts on a front-half or back-half schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsabilités

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours; stairs included.
• Work in variable environments with noise, weather, and temperature fluctuations.
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).
