We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as an Area Manager NorthEast. In this role, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of all assigned MDS customers. The Area Manager will be a point of contact for the customer throughout MDS, becoming a trusted advisor and supporting our customer’s needs across functions.

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the journey of all assigned MDS customers and drivers.
- Understand our customers’ clients (patients, facilities, imaging centers, etc.) and their delivery commitments.
- Ensure customers have the necessary data and reports to operate effectively.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with customers to improve their operations.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to review costs, service quality, and reporting.
- Maintain on-time delivery accuracy.
- Build and maintain relationships with ground-level contacts such as pharmacy managers.
- Maintain relationships with designated drivers and dispatchers.
- Identify opportunities to reduce servicing costs.
- Utilize ECOURIER software for dispatching and tracking assets.
- Oversee weekly customer service data reconciliation.
- Coordinate daily planning with the Customer Service Manager.
- Implement quality assurance processes for all operations.
- Manage special programs like ECOURIER.
- Engage in field operations, travel, and customer visits.
- Proactively drive execution and resolve issues as a self-motivated individual.
- Build trust and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Invest in learning the technical aspects of healthcare logistics.
- Uphold integrity and foster authentic, compassionate relationships.
- Operate effectively in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
- Develop and implement innovative practices and processes.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of management techniques.
- Strategic thinking and leadership initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
