Medical Delivery Services (MDS) is a nationwide leader in courier services, specializing in the secure and timely transport of nuclear medicine. Our mission is to enhance patient care through reliable, on-time deliveries—right patient, right place, right time.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as an Area Manager NorthEast. In this role, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of all assigned MDS customers. The Area Manager will be a point of contact for the customer throughout MDS. This position must become a trusted advisor to our customers and work cross-functionally throughout MDS supporting our customer’s needs.

Compensation
$72,000 - $75,000
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location:
Remote (with heavy travel to different locations)
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the journey of all assigned MDS Customers and drivers
- Understand our customer’s customers (patients, facilities, imaging centers, etc) are and the commitments they have made to deliver.
- Ensure our customers have the data and reports to run their business.
- Lead Customer Quarterly Business Reviews throughout the calendar year to improve their business
- Regularly scheduled on-site visits with customer to review cost, service and reporting
- Maintain On Time Delivery Accuracy Level
- Maintain relationship with customers on a ground level basis (pharmacy managers, etc..)
- Maintain relationship with designated specific drivers/dispatchers
- Improve Cost Efferences related to servicing customers
- Utilize ECOURIER software properly dispatch and track assets
- Week End closing of the Customer Service group information
- Daily planning with Customer Service Manager
- Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Special program ECOURIER
- Field Operations, Travel, Customer Visits

- Self-Starter – willing to invest time and energy to learn the technical aspects of our healthcare logistics/transportation business

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- Strong knowledge of management methods and techniques.
- Ability to think strategically and take initiative in leadership.
- Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
