Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the operations of several multifamily communities under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, leasing, budgeting, vendor oversight, resident relations, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry; or 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of several multifamily communities under Regional Manager supervision.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies; ensure lease closures and retention.
• Plan budgets, monitor invoices, and ensure accurate reporting and timely closeouts.
• Travel approximately 25–50% for property visits, conferences and training.
