Job summary

Amazon is hiring Area Managers to lead and develop teams in our fulfillment network. You will mentor up to 100 direct reports, drive safety, quality and productivity, and ensure timely delivery of customer orders in a fast-paced environment.

Roles are full-time, on-site in distributed operations facilities with rotating shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. A strong emphasis on teamwork and operational excellence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required before start.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program for related field (Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering).

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Lead shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages, operate PIT equipment where applicable.
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance.
• Walk the floor to stay connected with the team and improve operations.
