Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Area Manager in North Jackson, OH to lead a team of hourly staff, driving safety, quality, and on-time customer deliveries. You will engage employees during shifts and coordinate with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business objectives.

The role requires 2+ years in people and performance management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 2+ years with Amazon), and ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Valid US driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state drivers license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
