Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Ohio (Obetz). You will lead a team of hourly workers, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer deliveries across first/middle/last mile operations.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating with safety, engineering, and HR, and adapting to site-specific workflows. The role requires flexibility for shifts, including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather; outdoor loading areas.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
