Amazon.com Services LLC in Monroe, OH is hiring an Area Manager to lead an hourly workforce and ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery promises. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize operations across First/Middle/Last mile.

The role requires 2+ years in people management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or equivalent Amazon experience), and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with safety, engineering, loss prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in environments with variable temperatures/noise
• Navigate stairs where applicable
