Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager in Windsor, CT. You will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and delivery performance while meeting customer expectations.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet operational objectives. Responsibilities include mentoring the workforce, maintaining productivity, and supporting shifts that may include weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable
