Job summary

Talentify seeks an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates in Windsor, CT. You will drive safety, quality, attendance and performance while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

You will mentor staff across shifts, collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to implement plans that meet business objectives. The role involves physical duties and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
• Industry experience in retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers and accurate location handling.
