Job summary

OnTrac Logistics, Inc. is hiring a HUBArea Manager in Columbus, OH to lead a team of Package Handlers and optimize sort activities within an assigned facility.

You will oversee staffing, training, safety, and data-driven improvements while coordinating with operations to meet performance goals and schedules. The role requires at least 2 years in logistics with leadership experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; BA/BS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in logistics/shipping/3PL with at least 1 year in leadership
• Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills
• Effective communication and feedback delivery to employees
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and conducting evaluations

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback and address performance/attendance
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals and safety priorities
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume from Linehauls
• Execute safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting
