Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-sort meetings to inform daily goals and safety priorities and maintain open communication with staff.
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
• Execute safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting.

Location

1260 Collings Dr., Lockbourne, OH 43137. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.

Compensation

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $54,400 - to 68,000, with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $68,000 - 81,600. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Shift

Wednesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business)

Employment Logistics

As an Area Manager for OnTrac, you will report directly to the Operations Manager of the facility and be responsible for managing all the sort activities and volume within an assigned area. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing change to enhance business outcomes within the operation.

The Must-Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience – (ex. logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience
• Ability to effectively evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office and mathematical skills
• Effective communication skills including the ability to give honest, constructive feedback
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and completing performance evaluations for employees
