Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a HUB Area Manager for its Chicago, IL facility. This onsite role oversees all sort activities and volume within an assigned area, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will drive improvements, manage staff, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and requires 2+ years in logistics with leadership experience. The schedule is Sunday to Wednesday, with operational flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or Diploma required; BA/BS preferred
• Minimum 2 years in logistics/3PL with leadership experience
• Strong data evaluation and reporting skills
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to provide constructive feedback

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule a team of Handlers in an area of the facility
• Monitor progress and provide ongoing feedback to staff
• Lead pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals and safety priorities
• Record flow of volume and manage departures/arrivals of Linehauls
