Job summary

OnTrac is seeking an Area Manager for its Logan Township, NJ facility, onsite at the operation. You will lead a team of Package Handlers and Lead Handlers, monitor performance, and drive safety and efficiency in the sort area.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong data analysis, Excel proficiency, and hands-on leadership. Competitive base pay with opportunities for growth; standard benefits apply, and a schedule with PM shift Friday–Monday.

Qualifications

• GED or Diploma required; BA/BS degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years in the industry (logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of leadership
• Ability to analyze and summarize data and present answers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and math skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; experience with hiring and evaluating staff

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Handlers in an assigned facility area
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and address attendance and improvement opportunities
• Lead pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals, safety priorities, and events
• Oversee flow of volume from Linehauls and maintain safe operations
• Perform safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting
