Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a healthcare business development professional to serve as the primary liaison between Enhabit and referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, and health systems, to grow referrals and optimize post-acute care transitions.

This role focuses on education of services, program requirements, and collaboration with patients, families, and providers to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required to have Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or a graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Highly preferred graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Required minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Required demonstrated experience and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources including physicians, physician practices, hospitals, health systems, inpatient facilities, senior living communities, professional associations, and other healthcare organizations or progressional.
• Supports referral growth by providing awareness and education of company services and program requirements to referral sources, patients, families, caregivers and community partners to help navigate post-acute care transitions with the goal of improving patient outcomes, supporting care transition, and promoting exceptional quality and patient / referral source satisfaction.
• Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs.
